Harvest House Ministries is a residential addiction treatment centre that houses up to 24 residents. The Overnight Staff position at Harvest House Ministries is a multifaceted role with responsibility for resident safety and well-being during the overnight hours. The Overnight Staff ensures the security of the premises by locking down the facility, arming/disarming the alarms, and monitoring the CCTV cameras. In addition, they conduct regular head checks at designated times to verify the presence of all residents. The role also involves completing detailed documentation, including incident reports for significant occurrences and a comprehensive daily report outlining all relevant activities. Beyond safety and security, the Overnight Staff answers the telephone while strictly maintaining resident confidentiality. Additional responsibilities may include supporting morning routines, such as making wake-up calls, taking attendance at the morning meal, and so on. The Overnight Staff plays a crucial role in creating a safe and structured environment for residents, upholding the integrity of the program throughout the night.

Basic computer skills and familiarity with software like Adobe, Word, Teams, and Outlook is important. Experience as a security guard is an asset, but is not required.
