Outreach Support Administrator - Food4Kids Halton
Job Posting – Outreach Support Administrator – (Full-Time, 13 month contract covering a maternity leave)

Our Outreach Support Administrator is an important contributor to our organization, supporting Food4Kids Halton’s fundraising and program activities.
Food4Kids Halton provides packages of healthy food for elementary school students with limited or no access to food each weekend and throughout the summer. Last year, Food4Kids Halton distributed more than 41,000 food packages to over 1,100 children at over 100 schools in Burlington, Halton Hills, Milton and Oakville. A Food4Kids bag typically contains breakfast, lunch and snacks for the weekend consisting of fruits, vegetables, bread and other ready to eat products. Our work is made possible by collaborating with schools, volunteers, and community partners. Food4Kids Halton is one of six Chapters across Ontario supporting more than 4,000 children.

What you would bring to the role:
- Successful completion of a diploma in Business Administration, Public Relations, Marketing, Communications, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of one (1) year of recent relevant experience.
- Ability to implement plans in support of goals, through coordinated activities.
- Knowledge of fundraising and development service standards and principles.
- Flexible and adaptable team player with ability to collaborate and support others in the achievement of results.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability and skills in the areas of coordination, administration and problem-solving.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and social media such as Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn.
- Your work ethos demonstrates honouring commitments, transparency, continuous learning, accountability, and collaboration.
- You demonstrate personal excellence and honesty, exhibiting the highest standards of commitment and responsibility.
- You are creative and comfortable working with a diverse group of stakeholders.
- You enjoy collaborating with others to support achievement of positive results.
- Full-time (37.5 hours per week), Mondays to Friday, with occasional requirements to work evenings and weekends to attend community events and fundraisers.
- This is an onsite position with some opportunity each week to work remotely. You will be based out of our head office at 4391 Harvester Rd in Burlington. This position requires the ability to travel to our Milton and Halton Hills sites. Mileage is reimbursed but you must have access to your own vehicle.
- An annual salary in the range $42,000 - $47,000 which will be determined based on your experience.
