Office Coordinator - Okanagan College Students' Union
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY – The Okanagan College Students’ Union (OCSU) is seeking a ‘people-person’ Office Coordinator based in Kelowna. This is a full-time position with an average of 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday in person. Wage Range: $22-$25 per hour.
The start date will be immediately.
The Office Coordinator shall undertake duties as directed by the OCSU Executive Director. The duties may include but not be limited to the following:

In person + telephone reception and preliminary handling of inquiries

Providing administrative support such as data entry, document preparation, and filing

Point of Sale operations, cash handling, and balancing the register daily

Assisting students with accessing office services
-
Managing office supplies and inventory
-
Managing incoming and outgoing mail
-
Attending meetings and workshops as required
-
Other duties as directed by the Executive Director
The Successful Candidate will possess the following:

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management

Ability to remain calm while under pressure

Ability to adapt to a busy environment and manage multiple priorities

Competency with computers and office equipment

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compassionate and respectful when supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds, including neurodivergent people and English language learners

High school graduate and some post-secondary experience
-
Comfortable with public speaking and frequent interactions with campus community
-
Minimum 1 year of customer service experience, with a high standard of care
