We are seeking a skilled, driven, committed and passionate person to work as our Marketing and Communications Manager within our International Headquarters Office in Burnaby, BC. We are looking for someone who desires to use their skills to make a difference and resonates with Ratanak International's vision, mission and values in serving Cambodia. 

Role Description: 

Reporting to the Development and Communications Director and working alongside the fundraising team situated in the Development and Communications Department, the Marketing and Communications Manager is responsible for effectively leveraging a variety of marketing and communications mediums to increase awareness and support for Ratanak International’s work with human trafficking survivors and vulnerable communities in Cambodia.  

The Marketing and Communications Manager will be responsible to draft, execute and evaluate the annual marketing and communications plan, making sure all Ratanak International’s public engagement material adheres to the organization’s brand standards. Additionally, this role is responsible for creating the majority of the marketing and communications resources for Ratanak International with focuses on writing, editing, graphic design, video creation, social media management and website updates. The Marketing and Communications Manager will also be managing the creation of regular newsletters and appeal content.

Qualifications: 

As an applicant, you enjoy storytelling in its various forms. You love to think creatively and are an expert in writing, editing and developing compelling content. You understand the ins-and-outs of fundraising-focused marketing and feel confident with a variety of relevant technological tools and applications. You are an efficient and organized person who can manage projects and meet various deadlines. You are comfortable to work and lead in a faith-based environment, provide supervision and engage as an active part of a small, collaborative and fun-loving team. 
 
You have 3-5 years of work experience in a role focused on marketing or communications. Completion of a post-secondary certificate, diploma, or degree program in a relevant area is required (For example: Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism or another related field). Experience working for a non-profit or charity is an asset. 

Scheduling and Remuneration: 

This is a full-time position (5-days per week, 40 hours per week), commencing September 2025. The gross salary range for this position is $62,450 - $72,328 per year (depending on education and experience) based on a workweek of 40 hours per week with access to a comprehensive group benefits package. Candidates must be comfortable with travel throughout the Greater Vancouver Area with periodic international travel for work purposes.
