What Would You Do?
As our Marketing & Communications Manager, you'll be the voice behind our cause. From crafting captivating press releases to orchestrating perfectly coordinated marketing campaigns, you'll ensure that our message reaches far and wide effectively. You will also get to collaborate with a team of passionate individuals who share your love for people and animals. An outline of your key responsibilities has been listed below.
Salary Range: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year + Benefits
Schedule: Monday – Friday (On Site)

What Would You Do?
As our Marketing & Communications Manager, you'll be the voice behind our cause. - Research, write, and distribute press releases effectively conveying the organization’s mission
- Identify new opportunities through advertising partnerships and other relevant areas
- Design aesthetically innovative print marketing materials
- Collaborate with the Communications Assistant to create blogs, and website stories
- Manage the coordination of the company website and ensure it is properly updated and organized
- Develop internal and external digital newsletters targeting diverse audiences and encouraging engagement
- Oversee, manage, and distribute editorial calendars, and other promotional materials as necessary
- Assist managers in disseminating impactful messages
- Collaborate with marketing and communications volunteers, fostering a community of champions for animal welfare
- Bachelor's degree in marketing/communications or equivalent work experience and education
- 3-5 years of experience in public relations and marketing
- 3 years of experience in communications
- 2 years of experience in social media management
- Microsoft suite proficient
- Excellent written, design, media relations and digital marketing skills
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task
- Excellent creative thinking and problem-solving skills
- An incredibly keen and self-motivated attitude
- Valid Class G Ontario driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle
