Position: Manager, Systems

Reporting to: VP, Operations

About You:

  • 5+ years of experience in system operations, programs operations, process and improvement functions, or other relevant experience
  • Experience with Development of CRM processes with an emphasis on design in a not-for-profit charity space. 
  • Experience overseeing the set-up and management of systems such as Salesforce (CRM) and associated integration feeds.

Your Impact:

Reporting into the VP, Operations the Manager, Systems is responsible for building and overseeing systems, processes and procedures for Jack.org. This includes but is not limited to analyzing current systems and assets, recommending and implementing solutions and upgrades, and providing training.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analyze organizational needs, identify vulnerabilities, and boost productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to inform business decisions.
  • Ensure technology components work together to meet business needs, using their full range of capabilities, and stay informed about new features and competitor solutions.
  • Analyze processes, technologies, and vendors continually to find areas for improvement
  • Prepare cost-benefit analyses when upgrades are necessary, and monitor vendors to ensure that they’re offering the best possible service and value for business needs
  • Train employees to use software and hardware; troubleshoot issues and provide technical support when needed
  • Monitor and ensure that the appropriate stakeholders are informed of and trained on new and existing systems, processes and procedures including changes and updates to these. 
  • Develop and execute disaster planning and maintain data backups
  • Understand organizational needs and/or gaps (e.g data management) and identify and build systems, processes and procedures to effectively support them in collaboration with the organization.

  • Able to work independently and effectively within a team environment as well as both in-office and remotely.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach to working with all those around you.
  • A passion for the mental health of youth across Canada

Other Considerations:

  • Salesforce Administrator Certification is an asset
  • Work proficiency in French is an asset
