The Role:
As the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP), you will collaborate closely with multiple departments to support Second Harvest's strategic goals. Your role will be instrumental in shaping employee experiences, aligning HR initiatives with organizational needs, and driving improvements in talent management, workforce planning, and compliance. You’ll be both a trusted advisor and a proactive problem solver, creating a workplace where people feel empowered and connected to our mission.

Your Impact:
  • Talent and Performance Management: Lead the full cycle of HR services, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and offboarding, aligning with our organizational goals.
  • Compliance and Policy: Stay informed of employment laws and ensure legal compliance, reducing risk and protecting the organization.
  • Strategic Partner: Meet regularly with departments to understand their HR needs and contribute to people strategies that enhance retention, engagement, and productivity.
  • Employee Relations: Resolve complex employee relations matters, foster a positive work culture, and support organizational growth.
  • Organizational Development: Contribute to workforce planning, support annual HR plans, and collaborate on strategies to strengthen attraction, development, and retention.
  • HR Excellence: Guide managers on HR best practices, continuously improve HR processes, and uphold operational excellence.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Promote a workplace culture that values diversity and fosters a sense of belonging for all.
Who You Are:
  • HR Expert: You are well-versed in HR practices, including employee relations, compensation, performance management, and inclusion.
  • CHRP/CHRL certified (or eligible to obtain certification within one year).
  • Collaborative Communicator: You can navigate complex relationships, balancing multiple perspectives with empathy and diplomacy.
  • Strategic and Agile: You’re adaptable, solution-oriented, and able to pivot to meet evolving organizational needs.
  • Trusted Advisor: You’re skilled in building rapport across all levels, providing guidance, and handling sensitive matters discreetly.
  • Analytical Thinker: You leverage data to inform decision-making, track trends, and enhance HR services.
About the Perks:
  • Mission-Driven Culture: Join a team that’s dedicated to creating a more sustainable, food-secure future.
  • Competitive Compensation: We offer a robust benefits package and a commitment to work-life balance.
  • Professional Development: Second Harvest supports your growth with ongoing training and learning opportunities.
