Coordinator, Fundraising & Development – (Full-Time continuing position, tentative starting date July/August) - Evangel Hall Mission

Our Coordinator, Fundraising & Development is an important contributor to our organization, working in support of vulnerable individuals experiencing poverty and homelessness in through obtaining resources to fund programs.
Founded in 1913, Evangel Hall Mission (ehm) is a multi-service agency that provides support to people who are experiencing homelessness and poverty. We offer hot meals, showers, laundry facilities and respite from the elements through our Drop In Centre and other programs. Drop In participants can access spiritual care, volunteer and employment opportunities, and voluntary financial trusteeship from ehm staff. They can also access a range of supports from community partners through the Drop In, such as Narcotics Anonymous, vaccine clinics, nursing care, legal clinics, programs offered by Toronto Public Health and many more. ehm is also home to over 160 individuals and families, living in our two subsidised apartment buildings.
We are looking for a Coordinator, Fundraising & Development to join our team who cares about the same things. What you would bring to the role:
You will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
This is an on-site position and you will be based out of both our 552 Adelaide St West.
A competitive annual salary in the range $50,000-$60,000 (under review), which will be determined based on your experience.

What you would bring to the role:
- Successful completion of a post-secondary diploma or degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, Marketing, Communications or related field or approved equivalent combination of education and experience.
- A minimum of three (3) years of recent relevant experience.
- Ability to implement plans in support of goals, through coordinated activities.
- Knowledge of fundraising and development service standards and principles.
- Flexible and adaptable team player with ability to collaborate and support others in the achievement of results.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability and skills in the areas of coordination, administration, and problem-solving.
- Your work ethos demonstrates non-judgmental acceptance, honouring commitments, transparency, continuous learning, accountability, and collaboration.
- You demonstrate personal excellence and honesty, exhibiting the highest standards of commitment and responsibility.
- You enjoy collaborating with others to support achievement of positive results.
You will work 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
