Coordinator, Donor Recognition - The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Donor Recognition, the Coordinator, Donor Recognition will support The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation’s donor recognition program, as well as contributing to projects and processes that support best-in-class donor experiences. This person will possess strong experience in donor relations, provide innovative and strategic thinking, and will use results-driven approaches to inform continuous improvements.
As a member of the Donor Experience and Stewardship Team, the Coordinator, Donor Recognition will:
- Coordinate the annual calendar of updates across all donor wall systems at The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation
- Prepare donor recognition lists for review while ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Build and maintain accurate rosters and lists of donor recognition societies, an inventory of existing donor signage and new recognition opportunities, including a photo library of new and existing recognition opportunities
- Build strong knowledge of Princess Margaret occupied spaces and buildings as it relates to existing and new recognition programs and naming opportunities
- Develop donor recognition materials including recognition packages, renderings and bespoke recognition pieces
- Maintain and ensure the integrity of the CRM and the accuracy of donor recognition records
- Assist in the planning and execution of donor recognition and stewardship engagement strategies
- Support the documentation and updating of donor recognition processes and procedures
- Monitor industry best-practices in donor relations and recognition
Qualifications
- Completion of undergraduate/graduate degree or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 2+ years working in donor relations or operations in the non-profit sector
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for both internal and external audiences
- Proven experience working cross-functionally with team members at all levels, and ability to implement complex projects
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and comfort managing through ambiguity
- High degree of organization and self-motivation
- Excellent project management skills, and experience using project management tools like Asana is an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, experience working within a CRM
- Experience using creative platforms like In-Design, Canva, and/or Adobe Creative Suite
- The successful candidate will demonstrate professionalism, service-orientation, excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills
