Role Overview:

Reporting to the Manager, Digital Marketing the Coordinator, Digital Marketing will support the execution of digital marketing campaigns and website updates across the organization, ensuring an engaging user experience across Diabetes Canada’s web platforms

Contract Length: This role is a 14-month contract.

Location: 1300 – 522 University Ave. Toronto, Ontario. A flexible work agreement policy in place allowing employees to work on a hybrid schedule, working remotely, and with the expectation of being on-site. 

This role includes, but not limited to:

  • Use content management systems (Kentico, Shopify, and WordPress) to build, update, and publish website content, focusing on front-end web management.
  • Support ticketing requests and campaign support from internal teams and collaborating with external vendors for technical support as needed.
  • Continuously improve the user experience to maximize engagement with a data-driven approach.
  • Monitor, measure and report on user behavior data (e.g., website traffic patterns, heatmaps) with stakeholders and marketing team to inform decisions on feedback, personalization strategies, and improvements.
  • Conduct User Application Testing (UAT) to ensure functionality and performance across different browsers and devices.
  • Review and refine Diabetes Canada’s microsites to improve functionality and user experience.
  • Maintain documentation of website processes, best practices, and configurations.
  • Share knowledge and collaborate with colleagues to foster continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate possesses:

  • 2+ years of experience in digital marketing, website support, or a related role.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as Kentico, WordPress and Shopify.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML and web accessibility best practices (AODA compliance).
  • Proficiency in using AI tools, GA4, Hotjar and digital performance tracking.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented with strong writing and copyediting skills.
  • Ability to quickly learn new digital tools and technologies.
  • Experience with graphic design software (Photoshop, InDesign, Canva) and project management tool (Asana) is an asset.

Working Conditions

  • Full-time, Monday-Friday schedule
  • This position is a full-time hybrid position, candidate will be expected to be on-site as needed.
