Annual Salary Range: $60,000 - $65,000

Working collaboratively with various departments across the school, the Coordinator will organize and execute community activities in line with school policies and procedures. Additionally, the Coordinator will assist the Director in engaging with the Parent Association, Alumnae Association, and other community members during advancement initiatives. By overseeing logistics for community initiatives and analyzing engagement outcomes with warmth, professionalism, and friendliness, the Coordinator will ensure all needs are met and reinforce the school's commitment to being a welcoming and inclusive environment for everyone.

What You'll Do:

  • Coordinates on-site community engagement programming that meets the social, cultural, and learning needs of the school community
  • Builds and strengthens relationships with multiple audiences including donors, volunteers, community partners, and students
  • Assists in tracking RSVPs, managing registrations, name tags and coordinating materials for engagement events
  • Administers all community initiative logistics including cost estimates and general budgeting, catering, room bookings and other facilities-based needs such as audio visual requirements 
  • Co-ordinates the schedule for parent and alumnae events, calendars, budget and determine details and activities for events and/or programming with colleagues across the school
  • Collects and analyzes data related to community engagement and outcomes
  • Supports Director of Parent and Alumnae Engagement with calendar management, visa reconciliation and other administrative duties as assigned
  • Compiles items for the newsletters by proof-reading, formatting, posting and sends out the newsletters to the constituents out via RENXT and myBSS
  • Supports the logistics of local and international events including travel
  • Expectation to work evenings and some weekends as needed for community initiatives 

Who You Are:

  • Successful completion of a university degree and/or relevant college diploma 
  • Previous experience in program coordination, event planning, account management or a related field considered an asset
  • Past experience in a fundraising/advancement school setting considered an asset
  • Great organizational and interpersonal skills, with excellent planning, technology and project coordination aptitude
  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining accuracy and attention to details
