Are you passionate about coordinating dynamic after-school and summer programs that enrich the lives of students and the community? We are currently seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Auxiliary Program Co-ordinator to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing and coordinating after-school and summer programs that extend beyond regular school hours. This includes overseeing operational facilities tasks such as managing rental community contracts, space management and utilization, event coordination, and communication with rental community partners.

As the Auxiliary Program Co-ordinator, you'll play a key role in driving revenue for the school by marketing our facilities, attracting new vendors, and renting out spaces within the school. Your service-oriented approach, excellent communication skills, and ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, will be essential to your success in this role.

Hours of Work:

September (after Labour Day) to June 30:

Sunday: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm 

Monday to Thursday: 2:30 to 10:30 pm 

July 1 to Labour Day Monday: 

Monday to Friday: 8:00 to 4:00 pm 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate after-school and summer programs, ensuring smooth operation and high-quality experiences for participants.
  • Oversee operational facilities tasks, including managing rental community contracts, space management and utilization, and event coordination.
  • Drive revenue for the school by marketing facilities, attracting new vendors, and renting out spaces.
  • Maintain excellent communication with rental community partners and support facilities projects as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with other managers and support staff to fulfill the responsibilities of the role.

Qualifications:

  • Education in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in program coordination, event planning, or facility management.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required.
