Students Offering Support (SOS) & TalentEgg announced the launch of their strategic collaboration to build a bridge between post-secondary students and employers across Canada. This will be supported by launching initiatives to improve youth preparedness for leadership in the workplace, gaining vital volunteer experience on campus and having access to top employers across the country via the TalentEgg network.

The SOS Volunteer experience aims to empower students to elevate their educational experiences while cultivating their leadership qualities by being involved in an on-campus, student led social enterprise running educational programs for charity.

SOS’ Exam Aid programs provide student-led, peer-to-peer academic support at +25 campuses across Canada, assisting over 100,000 students. The organization also works with and donates to an international network of NGOs focused on improving global access to education.

James Arron, Executive Director, SOS commented, “We are pleased to work with TalentEgg and create a host of opportunities and resources for students to assist in the transition from university to the workforce. We have a proven track record of SOS members being exceptional leaders with our Alumni members going on to remain highly engaged in community leadership”

TalentEgg is Canada’s most popular job site and online career resource for students and recent graduates. While connecting students and recent graduates with meaningful, career-launching jobs from top employers in Canada, TalentEgg also provides thousands of free career resources created specifically with students and recent grads in mind to help them crack open their career path.

“Partnering with SOS allows us to engage exceptional talent with impressive credentials of being socially active global citizens with leadership experience,” said Mary Barroll, President, TalentEgg. “We’re excited to connect their student volunteers to top employers across the country while providing students the infrastructure to actualize their potential and impact.”
