The Long Weekend has come to a close and it is back to the 9-5 for many of us. That is why this week’s edition of the Weekday Wakeups is coming to you on a Tuesday – we wanted you to enjoy your holiday Monday without worrying about work (bleh). But as they say, all good things come to and end. So let’s get back to work and make the most out of our shortened week! Here are this week’s motivational hits:

Do it Myself – Russ (26)

Russ tells it how it is on this one. Often times in life, nobody is going to help you, and if you want to get something done and be successful, you may have to do it yourself. This is a self-empowering motivational song to get you on that independent grind.

I Like to Win – Shonlock (27)

If you like to win, so does Shonlock. The song is motivational and hits hard early. March to this motivational anthem as you trek your way through the day. If you have a winning mindset you can accomplish anything. Everyone likes to win, so get out there, put in that work, and chase that W.

Circles – K.A.A.N. (28)

Sometimes no matter how hard you work, you find yourself in a rut. If you feel like you’re running in circles, remember what you’re chasing after. Take a breather, reset your priorities, and focus on what’s most important to you. Sometimes when you are chasing a dream, it’s easy to get lost in the clouds. But keep grinding, you’ll get there one day.

Glorious (feat. Skylar Grey) – Macklemore (29)

Something about Macklemore’s style just energizes you to go out and grind. Add this track to your commuting playlist and you are sure to have a glorious morning. Treat each day like a gift. Be thankful for what you have but stay driven towards self-improvement.

The Bomb – Pigeon John (30)

This jumpy rock tune will have you fired up for the rest of the day. Are you ready to blow out onto the scene? This motivational song will challenge you to recognize your accomplishments and self-worth. It will hype you up, essentially saying that you are the best and everyone is about it know it.
