Google 4 Entrepreneurs Week: Youth Entrepreneurship Discussion Panel

September 24-28, 2012 was Google For Entrepreneurship Week. It’s a natural fit for a company started by two entrepreneurs working out of a garage in 1998, and for a company whose team – to this day – has a strong entrepreneurial drive, with many coming from entrepreneurial backgrounds.

As a proud Canadian start up, TalentEgg was egg-cited to partner with Google for their Youth Entrepreneurship Panel Discussion. TalentEgg-ers from across Canada submitted their questions for the panel via Twitter, using the hashtag #G4EStudents.

In the first half of the discussion, Googlers Dave Brown, Neil Shankman, and Perihan Abou-Zeid shared advice on getting started as an entrepreneur, financing options and how to build a great team. During the second half of the discussion, the Googlers answered viewer questions – including questions from TalentEgg-ers!

For some participants, the Youth Entrepreneurship Discussion Panel was their first experience with a Google+ Hangout, and this egg-citing event did not disappoint!
