Video blog: TalentEgg’s first intern dishes on the value of internships

by

In today’s video blog, Lauren chats about the value of internships—paid and unpaid—with Cassandra Jowett, TalentEgg’s first ever intern and now editor!

Cassandra was first hired as a summer sales and marketing intern at TalentEgg in 2008, when she was between her third and fourth years at the Ryerson School of Journalism. She started working with TalentEgg again in February 2009, to launch the Career Incubator, while she was completing an internship at the National Post, and became TalentEgg’s full-time editor last May.

For more information about how Cassandra turned her internship into a full-time job (including an old-school TalentEgg photo from 2008), check out this article.
