Check out the new TalentEgg.ca for top quality employers and career opportunities for students and new grads

Just in time for the back-to-school and campus recruiting season, TalentEgg.ca went live with a brand new site design and experience for students and recent grads today, September 1, 2009.

For students and recent grads, this means greater access to jobs and career resources, and career-lifestyle resources. Now you can bookmark your favourite companies’ profiles for later, and share profiles and job opportunities with friends on social networks, such as Facebook, Twitter and Digg.

There are currently hundreds of career-launching internships, summer jobs, co-op opportunities and entry-level jobs on the site from Canada’s top employers.

browsebyWe’ve worked with more than 150 employers since we originally launched last year and the TalentEgg team is continuing to work hard to bring you the best of the best.

You can browse jobs and companies by industry, province or job type.

All of TalentEgg’s student portals now share a common navigation bar, so you can easily switch from job postings to career advice to lifestyle articles and back again.

“Our goal at TalentEgg is and always has been to help students make a successful transition from school to work,” says TalentEgg founder and president Lauren Friese, “and in order to do that, we’re constantly innovating to improve the experience for students, employers, and advertisers.”

As always, you can also interact with TalentEgg’s two online magazines, covering career advice and lifestyle topics specific to students and grads, and take career-related tests to assess your strengths or prepare you for upcoming GMAT/GRE examimations.

TalentEgg.ca originally launched in April 2008, as a career hub connecting students and grads with meaningful career opportunities. Over the past 16 months, the company has responded to the needs of struggling students and recent graduates by expanding the services it offers.

Don’t forget to register to receive email notices from employers looking for people with your skills, and be able to save your favourite companies and jobs to your account. You can even use the information from your Facebook profile to automatically fill in parts of the registration form. How easy is that?
