This position is a full-time placement based in our Calgary, Alberta office.  The start date will be May 2023.

Overall Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

• • • Assisting Project Managers in all aspects of environmental project execution. 
    • Coordinating the procurement of project supplies and contractor services.
    • Significant travel as required for various field programs.
    • Groundwater and surface water monitoring.
    • Monitoring and maintenance of remediation systems.
    • Drilling, borehole logging and monitoring well installations.
    • On-site safety supervision and associated documentation.
    • Tracking and reporting on field activity.
    • Supervision of contractors on-site.
    • Preparing technical reports.

Qualifications

• • • Bachelor’s and/or graduate degree in Environmental Engineering from an accredited insitution.
    • Excellent organizational, technical writing and communication skills. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently or as part of a team setting.
    • New graduate (<1) to 2 years of practical experience.
    • Class 5 driver’s licence. Experience driving pick-up trucks and towing is considered an asset.
    • Ability to work challenging and potentially extended hours in the field under varying weather and remote conditions.
    • Working toward professional registration/certification.
