Position Summary

The Associate Manager, Pricing is responsible for constant, proactive category level price analysis to develop category wide price and promotional recommendations.  This role will perform individual category deep dives to reset pricing across the organization, an integral function to kick off a new way of price management for Walmart Canada.#LI-FY1

Position Responsibilities

  • Develop item level product attributes and relationships for individual categories within the merchandising organization to ensure price integrity across the category, customer-centric pricing, and  strategic pricing investments
  • Work alongside Pricing Managers to perform rigorous weekly item level pricing recommendations for individual categories, driving key item investment to achieve price gap goals
  • Continuous analysis of price measurement to deliver best in class understanding of customer experience of price
  • Provide ad hoc analysis in fast-paced environment, to support root cause/insights development for strong decision making and data-driven price management 
  • Actively drive standardization of effectiveness reporting throughout the business and work alongside management to provide insights to drive actions
  • Develop well-defined category level promotional guardrails, supporting by regular measurement and reporting
  • Perform other projects, as assigned, to support Pricing process evolution and improve delivery of data-driven insights

Qualifications

  • Minimum Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum Years of Experience Required: 1-2 years
