Who are we?
The specialty retailer UNIQLO is the top selling division of Fast Retailing Group in Japan (other divisions include Theory, J.Brand, Comptoir des Cotonniers, Princesse tam.tam and GU). UNIQLO has enjoyed strong growth by offering high-quality casual wear at reasonable prices based on its SPA (Specialty Store Retailer of Private Label Apparel) business model, which spans product design, manufacture, distribution and retail for women, men, children and infants.
The first UNIQLO store opened in 1984. UNIQLO now has worldwide operations, including in the U.K., China, Hong Kong, South Korea, United States, France, Singapore, Russia, Taiwan, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippine, Indonesia, Australia, Germany, Belgium and Japan. At the end of August 2015, we had 841 stores in Japan and 798 stores in other markets.
