Reporting to the Health & Safety Supervisor, you will be part of the Health & Safety Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
- Work collaboratively with the HS Field Coordinators and other departments as required;
- Monitor data entered into the incident tracking management software system (currently eCompliance) and report deficiencies;
- Become proficient in the use of the ISNetworld contractor management software system;
- Liaise with contractor service providers to assist them with their enrollment and participation in the ISNetworld contractor management program;
- Maintain a current list of DLM employees and contractor service providers and their key contact information;
- Assist and/or prepare reports on HS statistical performance (weekly, month-end);
- Prepare and issue monthly “Safety Connect” report detailing monthly and year-end safety performance;
- Record and distribute minutes of meetings (weekly supervisor, monthly Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC) and Contractor project kick-off);
- Support the HS team with HS administrative related tasks when required;
- Cover duties of the Health Safety & Training Administrators when they are absent from site (time entry, safety share development, purchase requisitions etc.);
- Monitor, track and issue site-wide emails as required containing updates and alerts.
- College Diploma or Certificate in Administration;
- Previous experience in an administrative function, preferably in a mining or industrial environment;
- Experience in document control and data management;
- Possess attention to detail;
- Experience in contractor management, and project related documentation requirements;
- Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.
Your Work Schedule:
- Schedule: 4/3 and consideration of a 7/7 schedule at our Detour Lake Mine;
- Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
