Drama and Dance Teaching Position

Our teachers provide a scholarly curricular experience that embraces inquiry-based instructional strategies. We seek highly collaborative teachers who are passionate about their subject area and who actively create opportunities for interdisciplinary and real-world connections and who are innovative not only in the use of technology but in the ways that they engage students in learning. Experienced teachers who have been engaged in ongoing professional learning and are excited about making a difference in the lives of young women are encouraged to apply for the following position for the 2018-19 academic year.

You are a skilled educator with the qualifications, experience and passion for teaching drama and dance to young women. You inspire your students to explore the arts and find their own passion. You are a reflective practitioner who is interested in pedagogical innovation. This position requires a willingness to engage in ongoing professional learning in a collaborative environment. A degree in the performing arts together with dance and drama qualifications at the Intermediate/Senior level and the interest to run a musical makes you an ideal candidate.
You bring superior academic credentials, including relevant degrees, and Ontario Teaching Certification (or equivalent). Your teaching record is outstanding and includes inquiry-based experience. You enjoy participating in the life of the school, including co-curricular activities.
