Position Description
As a Strategic Account Manager for IC National Accounts, you must possess passion, initiative and drive combined with creative sell through techniques. This position requires the ability to build strong relationships with Milwaukee’s largest plumbing wholesaler in the country, while embracing TTI’s commitment to excellence. With $10M+ in sales responsibility, you will be responsible for developing Milwaukee Electric Tools, Hand Tools and Accessories as the brands of choice and building a plan to drive this number in Eastern Canada for Wolseley. You must possess a Team First attitude, interacting with your peers positively to bring the best out of them and yourself. Your passion for knowledge, both product and business will help you lead this region to the required sales growth targets.
Your goal is to grow the Milwaukee brand presence at Wolseley Eastern Canada branches and drive sales throughout the region. This will require a sound strategy with all vertical businesses at Wolseley as well as the Wolseley Plumbing, HVAC and Water Works businesses.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Work closely with the National Account Manager to execute the national plan in Eastern Canada

Meet and Exceed Assigned Regional Budget Targets

Develop relationships throughout Wolseley’s Regional Mid-Level and Senior Management regionally

Build detailed plans with Wolseley Sales Managers to execute regular end user engagement

Effectively communicate promotional strategies with a sound sell through strategy

Leverage Mid-Market JSS resources to effectively engage with Wolseley’s end user base.

Work closely with our Core Trades Teams to generate product awareness and conversions

Build promotional ideas quarterly to drive business

Work side by side with our NASR Team to implement the national strategy and initiatives

Plan and execute new product launches
-
Build an Event Strategy for Eastern Canada. This is yours to plan, execute and manage with all the resources available
-
Other duties as required
What You Will Bring:

Minimum 3+ year’s successful sales/marketing experience dealing in the industrial channel to strategic or national account distributors

Demonstrated track record of growing profitable sales

Development of account business plans to include product offerings, forecasts, advertising/co-op, profitability, expenses and any specific distribution needs

University degree or College diploma

Highly literate in Microsoft Office products

Demonstrate strong analytical and organizational skills, including forecasting and planning skills

Strong communication skills – written, verbal and excellent presentation skills

Demonstrate negotiation skills

Takes a positive approach and has a sense of urgency

Demonstrate ability to work effectively with internal resources

Requires a valid driver's license, clean driving record and passport
