Role:

The Warehouse Supervisor is accountable for the management of the shipping team in order to achieve and exceed established corporate objectives, while maintaining a high level of service. He ensures that employees have received the necessary training and follow the procedures and policies in place and that necessary effort are made to achieve the division of productivity objectives while ensuring a safe working environment for our employees.

Role Responsibilities:
Analyze the labor needs and allocate staff based on workload;
Ensure quality control and timelines in the preparation of orders;
Ensure compliance with budget and goals;
Promote and enforce the company policies, procedures, regulations and safety instructions; Supervise staff and carry out the administrative duties, including; disability records, absenteeism, CSST, performance and discipline management;
Conduct team meetings, integrate, train and coach employees;
Write and create various reporting;
Participate in a variety of operational efficiency improvement projects; Ensure adequate control of time records for payroll processing;
Ensure harmonious labor relations;
Perform other related duties as requested by department leadership.

Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements:
College diploma in operations management or equivalent combination of experiences;
Minimum 5 years' experience in managing storage and work teams;
Knowledge of standard storage methods and procedures, order preparation and shipping;
Knowledge in health and safety management in a storage medium;
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work under pressure;
Ability to distribute work effectively, analyze and solve problems;
Excellent interpersonal skills, team spirit, good communication, leadership, organized, autonomous, available and flexible;
Mastery of Microsoft Office suite;
Fluency in French and English (oral and written).
