Role:

Reporting to the Transportation Manager, this position is responsible for performing administrative duties as requested.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Create, develop and maintain reports and databases for areas of delivery
  • Receive incoming calls and direct information to the appropriate personnel
  • Distribute invoices to drivers
  • Assign TTR's to designated load weekly
  • Monitor dispatch time and ensure drivers depart on schedule
  • Communicate with drivers over the dispatch phone addressing any delivery/load issues
  • Assist drivers with any mechanical issues by calling service for them when required
  • Complete daily dispatch log and forward to management group
  • Complete daily routing log and forward to management group
  • Complete load mapping using Syntellic database
  • Use STS for reporting and helping maintain accurate information
  • Prepare keys and route bags for Drivers
  • Upload Information to STS Units
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Skills/Job Requirements:

  • Completion of High School Diploma and two years related experience or training
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work accurately at a rapid pace
  • Displays strong interpersonal skills, acts as effective team player
  • Prioritizes and multi-tasks
