This is a permanent Full-Time position based in Port Alberni. Drivers are responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of products to our customers as well as for reporting any vehicle maintenance issues, keeping accurate and up to date log books and load sheets, and the responsible handling of checks. This position is approximately 40 hours/week (10 hour shifts) with fluctuations during slow and peak periods.
The successful candidate will be able to fill a Delivery Driver role during the summer months and transition into a Shuttle Driver role during our slow season (October to April).
Shuttle Drivers are responsible for the timely and accurate transportation of emptied trailers from Mid-Island to our warehouse in Victoria and loaded trailers back to the assigned yards after regular delivery hours. This position requires 10 hour shifts ranging between 4:30pm - 5:00am.
