The purpose of the Cisco Contract Renewals Specialist is to purchase, manage and create renewal quotes for Softchoice’s Smartnet and Keystone business.

A Contract Renewals Specialist need to be a dynamic individual with excellent written and oral communication skills. Must be able to work closely with both the sales team and management to achieve Softchoice goals and objectives

As our Contract Renewal Specialist title, you will be responsible for:

  • Quoting Smartnet and Keystone contract renewals 90 days prior to expiration using Cisco’s Quoting Tool
  • Responsible for all revisions of Smartnet and Keystone quotes
  • Quote and capture Takeover Smartnet business
  • Handling requests for new maintenance quotes
  • Responsible for achieving a quoted renewal target
  • Assist sales on customer calls to review renewal opportunity
  • Handling presales and post sales Smartnet and Keystone questions from sales team and other internal departments
  • Processing all Smartnet and Keystone credit requests
  • Purchase and process Smartnet and Keystone orders
  • Provide purchase confirmations to our customers for all Smartnet purchases
  • Processing all Smartnet and Keystone credit requests
  • Maintain the accuracy of our Keystone inventory
  • Ensure all Smartnet existing contracts are accurate and current
  • Management of customer access to their Keystone and Smartnet contracts
  • Track lost renewals and reason for lost renewals
  • Basic technical understanding of all Cisco products and products supported by our Keystone Service

As our ideal candidate you’ll also have:

  • Expert knowledge of renewal process
  • Expert knowledge of new contract and renewal contract ordering processing
  • University Degree or College Diploma required (technology or business-related discipline desired)
  • At least 1 year sales operations experience within the IT sector, specifically during the pre-sales cycle
  • Analytical
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Judgment and problem solving skills
  • Proficient in MS
  • Able to multi-task and stay organized in a fast paced sales environment.
  • Must be sales and customer service oriented.
  • Team-oriented with excellent written and verbal communications skills required
  • Must have the ability to prioritize and work within a deadline
