As part of the Trillium project based in Ottawa, we are looking for a HSE Support Technician & Administrator to join our growing team. You will support the HSE department in a product design, communications, and administrative function. This is primarily an office-based position.

How will you contribute to the team? 

Design, brochures, logos, signs, books, covers, reports, and other communication product.
Exceptional organizational and management skills & literacy.
Manage and maintain schedules, appointments.
Strong technical competency and computer literacy – including proficient with Microsoft
Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook), Microsoft Office (Professional), Visio and
Adobe systems.
Create project specific learning and awareness products by using technology – supported by relevant Subject Matter Experts.  
Possess a high skill level in all aspects of computer function and use.
Preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual HSE reports.
Manage, maintain, and monitor the Project Incident Reporting Management System.
A strong communicator.
Prepare and edit correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents.
Conduct research, collect and analyze data to prepare reports and documents.
Ability to multitask, prioritize and plan to meet tight deadlines to achieve required targets.
Provide guidance and support necessary to contribute towards efficient HSE Management by creating, reviewing and administering safety database spreadsheets to support project goals.  The main aims being to create Safety performance tracking and trending, as required.
Collect, compile and track HSE data received from all Project sources.
Manage HSE programs through monitoring and analyzing the incidents trending and generatively produce communicable lesson learned materials and campaigns.
Provide support to HSE Management regarding any ad hoc assignments and/or projects; and perform other duties within the individual’s capabilities and experience as requested.
What will you contribute? 

Bilingualism (French and English, written and spoken) is a requirement.
Certificate III in Administration or Business.
0-2 years’ experience in administrative support or design and communications development.
Experience in translation (English to French and French to English).
Experience working in a multicultural environment.
Valid Driver’s License, with own transportation.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Must be flexible to take on additional tasks to assist company.
Proactive with independent working skills.
Fully capable in MS Office.
Détailed approach and Results-oriented.
Team player.
