How will you contribute to the team?

Reporting to the Senior Director, IT Governance & Performance, the IT Business Analyst will assist and contribute to the execution of governance and performance related services. He/she will support the immediate and cross functional teams in the process analysis and improvements initiatives to drive the operational excellence, efficiency and ongoing optimization. He/she will act independently in day-to-day reporting activities and collaborate actively in solutioning process issues and/or business needs with a solution driven, flexible, collaborative, positive mindset and “value-add” attitude.  The internship will allow the student to develop professional skills such as priority management, resilience, problem solving, and agility and decision making.

Tasks et responsibilities:

Gather, collect, maintain & analyse data determined critical to our Partnership Support Agreement operational effectiveness: Staff labor annual commitment and ongoing changes, KPIs, governance related action logs & collaboration sites.

  • Prepare and review executive reporting presentations (contract executive dashboard).
  • Develop and document use cases, business processes & data model required to develop reporting dashboard: contract invoicing, labor type by function/region, project cost, financial performance against budget, … (Power BI and other management tools).
  • Collate and maintain data to ensure automated reporting is accurate, up to date and operational at all times.
  • Spearhead initiatives to automate work processes use to create reports.
  • Analyze & document IT services processes through reviews, interviews, workflows, input/output and RACI leveraging the existing document standards and best practice standards.
  • Actively participate in optimization & efficiency initiatives, elaborate and communicate recommendations.
  • Leverage industry best practive to enhance reporting which promote internal user adoption and engagement.

What will you contribute?

  • Diplomas
  • Mastery or Bachelor’s degree in Technology, management or Marketing

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in advanced Excel, Visio, statistical tools, MS Office and PowerPoints
  • Must have reporting and dashboard creation experience and know how to design and manage complex dashboards with accuracy and attention to details.
  • Data obsessed, great at translating numbers into IT operational insights and uncovering both the what and the why.
  • Have process and use case development experience

  • Strong interpersonal skills and abilities to work cross functionally in a dynamic work environment with constant change
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills
  • Ability to work independently or with a team and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge and experience of contract and/or supplier management roles
  • Decisiveness and discernment
  • Fluency in French and English (spoken and written)
  • Strong communications skills demonstrating capability to communicate in French and English in a clear, concise manner, both written and verbal
