Unit Assistant Part Time Casual (24 hours/week as needed)

We are looking for a creative thinker who is quick on their feet, and who can take the lead in a fast paced LIVE television environment. As part of Canada's longest running women's lifestyle show, you are well versed in television production and understand the need for compelling editorial and digital content for our viewers across the country.

What you'll be doing:

  • Floor directing during a LIVE show and assisting with a studio audience
  • Research, story pitches and editorial tasks as assigned by the Supervising Producer
  • Assisting with audience reservations, viewer emails and phone calls
  • General production assistance
  • Other duties as assigned

What you have:

  • Completion of Post-Secondary Television/Broadcasting course
  • Experience in a LIVE television studio setting
  • Seeking a creative, detail oriented, self-motivated, professional and proactive team member

Schedule: Part time

Shift: Variable

Length of Contract: 12 Months

Work Location: 33 Dundas St. East (909), Toronto, ON

Travel Requirements: Up to 10%
