Digital Marketing Automation Manager - Cross Channel Marketing

As a member of the Cross Channel Optimization team, you will work with different multi-disciplinary forums within the organization to drive Wireless and Connected Home sales growth; identify and optimize lead generation activities to feed cross channel sales targets.

The Digital Marketing Automation Manager is an exciting new role on the team where you will act as a subject matter expert of our Marketing Tech stack (i.e. Salesforce Marketing Cloud) to help support the implementation of end-to-end lead generation, capture, automation programs and handoff to sales channels. You will provide insight on lead generation and management strategies and best practices to apply to the team's programs. You will own and lead the development and execution of key lead management projects and email marketing campaigns. You will manage the discovery of new technologies that are integral to the success of the Cross Channel team, analyze the impact of capabilities, systems and services and drive implementation and adoption of existing technology stack across our team and other internal key stakeholders (Digital, Customer Base Management, Marketing, Branded Sales). This position will be a key stakeholder in ensuring the Marketing and Sales departments work efficiently through new technology offerings to drive revenue and provide exceptional customer experiences.

What you will be doing:

Marketing Technology Management

  • Define marketing technology roadmap and KPIs with the support of external agency to achieve the team's goals
  • Evaluate new marketing technologies to identify the latest features, tools, software available that will best support online and cross channel functions
  • Drive and adoption of new technology through sharing the technology's value across the organization and manage usage across Marketing & Sales team
  • Educate Senior Leadership, Marketing, and Sales teams on the use of technology to reach our customers and drive sales
  • Works with the Analytics & Reporting Specialist to determine the success of implemented marketing technology and the return of the investment made
  • Lead and assist Sr. Manager, Cross Channel Optimization to pilot new marketing technologies, measure and track effectives, and its ability to accelerate contact and conversion rates
  • Optimize marketing initiatives through technology solutions
  • Coordinate training of new technologies and will be the expert for the team to reach out to for assistance

Lead Management & Nurture Campaigns

  • Serve as the team subject matter expert on how to leverage technology stack (i.e. Salesforce Marketing Cloud) capabilities for lead generation and management activities
  • Drive data integration and automation discussions with 3rd party agency and internal stakeholders (Digital, Customer Base Management, Marketing, Brand, IT)
  • Manage the daily operations of the technology stack with 3rd party agency
  • Take the lead on executing weekly/quarterly email marketing campaigns, develop the contact strategy, work with internal teams to deliver email content/offers and oversee deployment activities with agency
  • Lead and assist in customer journey mapping and design of email marketing campaigns
  • Work with the 3rd party agency to monitor and report on results of email campaigns and make recommendations for optimization
  • Liaise/partner with cross-functional teams including but not limited to Marketing, Customer Base Management, Channel Marketing, Commercial Strategy, Digital, Brand, IT teams to ensure end to end delivery of programs and customer experience across channels

What you bring:

  • 3+ years of managing highly-complex digital marketing projects including hands on experience working with marketing technology platforms
  • 2+ years of experience and knowledge of best practices in current demand generation tactics of B2C/Telco is an asset
  • 3+ years of email marketing experience, Salesforce Marketing Cloud certification is an asset
  • Experienced in Marketing Automation (Salesforce Suite including Marketing Cloud, Call Attribution (Invoca), and Adobe Audience Manager)
  • Experienced in Lead generation and management strategies and tactics
  • Superior organizational skills
  • Superior thinking, reasoning, and other cognitive abilities
  • Proven stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to multitask in a deadline driven environment
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills and presentation skills
  • Ability to take initiative and work autonomously; able to lead by influence across a wide breadth of stakeholders
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with a collaborative and proactive approach to problem solving
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field preferred
