You will be joining the engagement management team within the technology organization at Rogers. You are an energic polymath who can get things done for Rogers. You’ll use your technical understanding as well as your business savvy to help take concepts from vague ideas to concrete, realized benefits. You’ll use this opportunity to grow within a team of deeply knowledgeable and skilled resources, expanding your understanding of telecommunications technology and business models. You’ll have the opportunity to work on a very wide portfolio, working, for example, on changes in the core network enabling new features for our consumer wireless customers one day, and the next helping to implement key controls in the IT systems that manage our financials. This will be a great opportunity for you to learn about many facets of Rogers.
Detailed responsibilities include:
Working with business stakeholders to gather detailed business requirements and elaborating these requirements into user journeys
Working with delivery teams in IT, digital and network to develop and refine delivery plans
Working on budgetary planning, ensuring initiates have appropriately defined benefits and business plans
Facilitating prioritization meetings with executives from member business units.
Understanding and help shape the technical delivery of business benefits.
Experience with Microsoft office suite, particularly excel
Experience with project planning activities
Experience working collaboratively with a cross-functional team
High level understanding of business case development.
Degree in progress in engineering, computer science, or business administration preferred
