Reporting to the Program Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for doing a live weekday radio show as well as daily music logs. We're looking for someone who has a passion for radio, music, & communicating, and to help us build our #1 For Country brand. In the heart of Southwestern Ontario, Tillsonburg along with Oxford, Norfolk and Elgin counties have long been a hot-bed for country music. Less than an hour away from London, Kitchener and beaches on beautiful Lake Erie. Country music lives here!

Responsibilities:

  • Daily on-air shift
  • Daily Music scheduling
  • Work with Program Director on the overall sound of the station
  • Commercial voicing
  • Attend station events and remotes

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years on-air experience
  • Knowledge/passion for the Country format
  • Relate to target audience
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, team player with a positive attitude and a passion to succeed
  • Exceptional communication and people skills a must
  • Proficient understanding of social media platforms including Twitter, Facebook and Instagram
  • Ability to work independently when required
  • Must be willing to work evenings and weekends when required for promotional activity
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of Music Master, Wide Orbit Automation, Vox Pro
  • Must hold a valid Drivers license
