Position overview and Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Team Lead, Accounts Payable Canada within the Accounts Payable group, you will be responsible for:

  • Processing of accounts payable invoices relating to construction, drilling, and completions activities in accordance with Repsol’s Global Policies and AP Procedures
  • Provide customer support and maintain effective relationships with our internal and external customers
  • Provide assistance in investigation and resolution of  internal and external audit as and when required
  • Perform monthly random sample checks and monitoring (to support AP Leads)
  • Perform ad hoc duties to support the Canada AP Team as and when required

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in your third or fourth year of an Accounting degree
  • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite of Products
  • Very strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
  • Exceptional communication skills as well as strong presentation/facilitation skills
  • Able to work independently and within a team
  • Demonstrate an understanding and enthusiasm for the oil and gas industry
  • Professional conduct is fundamental to success in this position
  • Proven organizational, time management and project management skills
