A CAREER IN P&G'S SALES FUNCTION
Sales is an organization within P&G that is responsible for managing the P&G business and our relationships with Canada's largest retailers. When you join the Sales function at P&G, you hit the ground running. Utilizing proprietary research, industry & brand understanding, and real data, you will create and present your own business plans to your customer, then execute your plan through managing a multi-million dollar budget.
As an Account Manager , you do more than "sell". You become a strategy consultant, working with the largest retailers on the biggest brands in Canada. This work will directly impact shelving assortment, product showcases, and in-store marketing at your retailer. You get the satisfaction of seeing their work come to life in the Canadian market, and perhaps beyond. The result is that you grow both P&G's business and the business of your retailer(s). The start date for this job is summer, 2018. Please apply if you have graduated by April of 2018 or earlier. Note that your first assignment (1.5 to 2.5 years) will be in Vancouver or Calgary, and following that you will be expected to locate to Toronto for future assignments.
To be successful in Sales, you must be a leader, a strategic thinker and an excellent communicator. You are also someone who sets priorities, follows through on commitments and understands how to analyze data to help drive decision making. But most importantly, you're a person who values teamwork, capitalizes on opportunities and maintains a passion for winning.
- This position is well-suited for someone with 0 to 3 years of work experience after graduation.
- You must be willing to start your career on the West coast (Vancouver or Calgary), and relocate to Toronto following your first assignment (1.5 to 2.5 years).
