WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF AN ASSISTANT BRAND MANAGER IN OUR BRAND FUNCTION?
Here, we want you to get your career off to a fast start. From day one, you will be leading projects that have a direct impact on our $2.5 billion+ Canadian business. Assistant Brand Managers play a key role in leading multi-functional teams aimed at achieving industry leadership in share, volume, household penetration, and sales growth. We constantly analyze the business, our consumers, the trade, and competition. We develop best-in-class strategies and plans leveraging both our insights, and the advertising toolkit designed by the head office. We execute with excellence in Canada across holistic touch-points - including media, digital (including social media), PR, pricing, distribution, and merchandising.
 
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT WHEN YOU JOIN US?
In Canada, our Brand function is responsible for partnering with our North America head office to design effective strategies to win within the Canadian market. We own making product, pricing, forecast and local strategy decisions, and lead a large multi-functional team. We adapt and tailor a North American advertising toolkit for local insights. We work closely with creative and media agencies to execute the advertising toolkit in the most effective way possible and amplify locally where relevant. You will be able to build your skillset as a future marketing leader through our world-class training program and real accountability on a massive, important business.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:
We select candidates from a wide range of disciplines. We require people who possess outstanding leadership, interpersonal communication and problem solving/ analytical skills, with a proven track record of success in varied endeavours and a passion for winning. Ideal candidates are fresh graduates or those with some work experience (0-3 years) that are available to start between May-September of 2019.
