WHAT SETS P&G CANADA APART AS AN EMPLOYER?
Investing in the best talent to become tomorrow's leaders!
Leadership Responsibility from Day 1
As a new hire, you will have BIG responsibility from day 1, making a real business impact, on consumers, in stores, and on brands.
Build From Within Culture
Continual investment in you-mentoring, coaching, training from day 1. We hire for the person, not the position.
First, you will develop a strong skill set in the function you start in, enjoying the diversity of roles within this function. Next, depending on your interest, skills, and potential, you can further customize your career- grow within your field, explore cross-functional opportunities across brand and sales, or pursue international opportunities within P&G.
WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT WHEN YOU JOIN US?
In our Sales function, you do more than "sell". You act as a strategic consultant, working with the largest retailers on the biggest brands in Canada. You grow the business by working as a partner with our customers, not just as a supplier.
Imagine the thrill of making a sale for P&G. An internship in Sales provides unparalleled learning through hands-on experience. You'll become an important member of one of our Customer Teams, working directly with the customer and receiving coaching from your manager. You will have selling and account management responsibilities since our interns are assigned ownership of projects that they lead to completion, and are expected to make a meaningful contribution to the growth of our brands. We train our interns to complete business analyses and participate in account presentations. Check out our Sales function's new video "I Sell Soap" at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ga4cg0ErUAc .
What matters most to us is that you possess natural leadership and business skills, tenacity and an entrepreneurial spirit, along with communication skills that will enable you to thrive in a challenging and exciting work environment. During your internship, P&G focuses on learning more about you, and evaluates if you are the right fit for a full-time position. Similarly, this is also an opportunity for interns to learn more about P&G and understand the wide range of opportunities that we can provide.
Candidates must be available May 6th through August 2nd, 2019. We encourage students graduating in 2020 from all disciplines to visit www.pgcareers.com
and search job # SLS00003000 to apply. The location for this internship is Toronto, and possibly Vancouver based on your preference and availability.
Please copy/paste your resume to your online application; we do not require a cover letter or transcripts. If your skills match our requirements, you will be asked to complete two online assessments. Finish your job application/assessments before midnight, Sunday October 21 st , 2019.
