Digital Fundraising Specialist
The Ontario Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (Ontario SPCA) is a registered charity with a Provincial Office in Stouffville and supports close to 50 communities throughout Ontario. The following opportunity is available, based out of our provincial office, with a flexible working location.
POSITION TITLE: Digital Fundraising Specialist
Are you a digital whiz who wants to help animals in need?
The Digital Fundraising Specialist is a critical, full-time role within the Ontario SPCA’s Development team, reporting to the Associate Director, Annual Giving. This role is responsible for the planning and execution of activities that raise funds and contribute to the success of the organization’s online digital fundraising and awareness activities.
As a member of our Development team, you will collaborate with the Associate Director, Annual Giving to develop a digital giving strategy raising up to 10% of the annual giving program revenue.
You’ll be accountable to implement and execute the tactics of the digital giving strategy and manage all aspects of our digital fundraising budget, including projections, calendarization and expense approvals.
With a focus on lead generation and new donor acquisition, you’ll be responsible for the creation, configuration, approval, deployment and reporting on all active fundraising-focused email, Facebook, Google and other digital campaigns.
You’ll manage creative and copy writing for emails and social media posts, create Luminate Online digital assets (donation forms, fundraising pages, landing pages and more), and be accountable for the management and monitoring of digital advertising expenses and revenue. You’ll also be our subject-matter expert for SEO/SEM, and help us manage and grow our Google Grant.
- Relevant college diploma or university degree or equivalent is preferred
- 3-5+ years relevant experience in non-profit online fundraising and/or marketing
- 3+ years experience with Luminate Online
- Google Marketing certification preferred
- Working knowledge of Raiser’s Edge
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities on tight deadlines
- Proven customer service, verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and analytical skills
- Pro-active, self-directed and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite
Please note, there is a possibility for this to be a remote position, with periodic travel to the provincial office in Stouffville.
