New Business Development Representative (New Graduate - 6 month contract)

Location: Milton, ON (401 & James Snow Parkway)

Leading the Way in Electric Vehicles

Do you get excited about clean energy and reduction in greenhouse gasses? MTB’s zero emission vehicle ZEV Clean Power (ZEV) repower solution is a 100% made in Canada solution that will convert an existing diesel bus to a road ready zero-emissions battery-electric bus.

As our New Business Development Representative, you’ll never have a shortage of interesting work in this sales and marketing support role.  This role will focus primarily on generating new opportunities for our ZEV service line across North America.

Your tasks will include:

  • Create and manage database of prospective customers in varying verticals in Canada and US
  • Prospect for new business by introducing service to prospective prospects and partners
  • Schedule appointments and participate in sales presentations
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the business
  • Stay current with all company products, services, and industry trends
  • Assist with outbound marketing tasks such as trade shows, email blasts, social media programs, etc.
  • Other ad hoc jobs as required

Working with MTB

We work out of a bright, clean, and modern office full of state-of-the-art equipment. We have a great working environment, with many long-term employees.

This is a 6-month contract that may lead to permanent placement.  The role is a great opportunity for a recent graduate looking to start their career in sales.

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in a business-related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience in sales (retail, B2B, B2C, etc.) is an asset
  • Demonstrates persistence, overcomes obstacles, and strives to grow and improve
  • Excellent organizational skills, strong ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work independently and as a team
  • Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Understands the principles of business development
  • Sound work ethics and positive work attitude
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
  • Canadian resident
