Co-op Analyst-Developer, Technology Consulting

We are currently seeking a Co-op Analyst-Developer to join our Technology Consulting team for a four month term beginning September 10, 2018 until December 21, 2018. Driving business excellence, MNP is a leading national accounting, tax and business consulting firm in Canada. Our Consulting team works with organizations in the public, private and not-for-profit sectors to provide innovative strategies tailored to maximize efficiencies, enhance performance and increase profitability. Specifically, our recognized Technology Consulting team works with clients to translate technology issues and opportunities into meaningful results that meet organizational needs.


Performance Expectations

  • Develop bleeding edge technology solutions in a wide variety of technologies including AngularJS, .NET, and Java
  • Implement software development best practices and design patterns
  • Communicate with key stakeholders
  • Write requirements and system designs
  • Perform testing of solutions written by the project team


  • Zero (0) to two (2) years experience with some practical application of theory or position related experience in software development
  • Knowledge of some of the following technology platforms/languages: .C#, Visual Basic/Java/J2EE, JSP, HTML, XML, JavaScript, AngularJS
  • Knowledge of the .NET Framework, ASP.NET, C# and SQL Server
  • Knowledge with Spring, Web Servers, SOAP, Ajax, JQuery, MVC patterns and SQL
  • Skilled to define, create and complete a technical task with minimal guidance
  • Knowledge of the software life cycle, software development processes and methods
  • Practical knowledge of code testing
  • Aptitude to form strong and constructive relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Interest and ability in quickly learning new technology and concepts
