Position Summary:

As the Documentation Specialist Intern, you can get on track and aim high with Mercedes-Benz Financial Services and Daimler Truck Financial.  The Documentation Specialist Intern provides a wealth of professional skill development and we provide the technology and additional training for you to succeed.  The position requires a high degree of job independence with success being defined primarily by customer satisfaction.


  • Assist collections department with preparing required documents, including legal searches in order to close out repossessed files.
  • Assist Loss Recovery department with responding to bankruptcy claims, preparation of legal invoices for payment, sending of demand letters and other duties as required.
  • Generate customer loyalty while supporting our financial services through a strong customer focus and promoting a commitment to excellence.
  • Through telephone contact, be the name and face representing Mercedes-Benz Financial Services and Daimler Truck Financial.
  • Preparation and analysis of portfolio performance reports as assigned by management.
  • Use communication and analytical skills to provide mutually beneficial problem resolution.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • Undergraduate degree in progress; focus in business and/or finance preferred. 
  • Able to use active listening skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills to achieve results.
  • Driven and motivated by a fast-paced environment and have a willingness to learn and be challenged by continual professional development.
  • Thrive on cooperation and collaboration within a team as an enthusiastic individual contributor.
  • Bilingual in French or Mandarin is an asset.
