Sales Trainee Program (STP)
For more than 160 years, Labatt has created enduring bonds with consumers as they share memorable experiences while enjoying iconic brands like Alexander Keith's, Labatt Blue, Budweiser and Stella Artois.
Labatt employees share the dream of becoming the best, most profitable beer company in a better world with their Anheuser-Busch InBev colleagues worldwide. From Newfoundland to British Columbia, Labatt's 3,000 employees brew about 60 local and world-known beers. Anheuser-Busch InBev is the leading global brewer, managing a portfolio of more than 200 brands.
Labatt is one of Canada's most recognized brands and most respected corporations. We take responsibility for improving the world where we do business, and together we find ways of putting social responsibility into action. We're also committed to building a company for the long-term with a legacy to be proud of – for the people who work for us and with us; for future generations and the environment; and above all for our consumers.
At Labatt, we offer unlimited career development, the opportunity to act like an owner every day and a work environment that encourages you to step out of your comfort zone. We are one of Canada's Top 100 employers for 2018 and we want people who think disruptively, challenge the status quo and want to WIN.
Are you ready to quench your thirst for success?
This program gives you the chance to learn about the diversity of challenges and opportunities within sales. You'll spend time at one of our wholesalers, riding with sales reps, delivering beer off the back of a truck and building creative displays in retail accounts. You'll also learn from leaders in both our region sales offices and headquarters in St. Louis and New York. And by the end of the program you'll know how we sell our beer from start to finish.
Opportunities include roles in forecasting, trade marketing, business and wholesaler development, pricing and promotion analysis and key account management; it's the strategic side of how we sell our beer. Sales is the backbone of our company—we work hard to get our product in the hands of every one of our target consumers… of legal drinking age of course.
Typical first position after completion of the rotational trainee program: Sales Representative
Regardless of the field, if you're the right fit for our culture, we'll take you as you are. Because even though a background in business, marketing, science, or engineering would definitely help, we're also open to varying majors, because all we really want is hard-working and passionate professionals like us.
