Your Job

We're looking for a Product Owner to join our growing team!

As a Product Owner , you will work closely and collaboratively with business stakeholders to identify opportunities to continuously improve the customer experience. Acting as the vital link between Operations, Software Engineering/Intact Lab/Data Lab partners, you will ensure the product specifications and delivery align with steering vision through deep understanding of strategy, deep collaboration with all partners and constantly looking for opportunities. Your ability to articulate complex matters in simple terms, laser-focused approach to planning and calm demeanor will contribute to the success of assigned strategic initiatives. Additionally, you will co-ordinate and provide support to the various teams, develop roadmaps and roll-out strategy for the implementation.

Key responsibilities:

  • You will identify and own requirements and act as the go-to source for an agile team.
  • Partner with teams and executives to facilitate projects and collect requirements
  • Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary agile team from ideation to execution
  • Conceive vision and /or translate vision into specifications
  • Build roadmaps for initiatives
  • Lead workshops to document business processes and technical systems
  • Write clear agile stories that help propel engineering work
  • Obtain and consolidate feedback from various subject matter experts
  • Assist with change management
  • Communicate project progress to stakeholders
  • Work with leadership to maximize engagement and efficiency of the team
  • Produce any documentation required to help move product forward
  • Participate in planning, demos, committees and retrospectives.
  • Integrate client feedback and analytics insights into roadmaps.
  • Ensure everything is aligned to make the initiative happen.

Workplace: Montreal (2020, Blvd. Robert-Bourassa) or Toronto (700, Univeristy Ave.)

Your Skills
  • Experience working in an agile Scrum / matrix environment an asset
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Bilingual (French and English)
  • P&C Insurance  and claims experience an asset
  • Project Management and facilitation skills
  • Strong Presentation skills - skilled at MS PowerPoint and MS Visio (Nice to have)
  • Prior PO experience an asset
  • Prior Coaching/Leadership skills an asset
  • Prior Design Thinking and Customer Journey mapping experience an asset
  • Prior business transformation experience an asset
  • Lean/Six Sigma experience or accreditation an asset
