DevOps Developer Intern (4 months)

Your Role and Responsibilities
This position resides in Ottawa, Ontario and is a 4-month work term commencing January 2021. It is mandatory that all applicants are enrolled in full-time studies at a post-secondary institution and returning to full-time studies upon completion of the work term.
IBM's Cloud Developer Tools is a core part of our company's strategy and of the IBM Cloud platform developer experience. It provides the developer with an open environment for creating tool chains that encompass all aspects of working with IBM Cloud platform.
We are looking for DevOps software developers to develop a mix of new features and support existing code on critical projects with high visibility. The successful candidate will work as a Software Developer as part of the IBM DevOps Developer Tools development team. Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Co-op or internship program enrollment is mandatory
- Understanding of DevOps practices
- Knowledge of and some experience with RESTful APIs, Kubernetes, Node, Ruby, Go, Java, Postgres, Redis, GitHub, GitLab
- Understanding and some experience with DevOps or Full Stack Development
Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
- 2nd or 3rd year student with some coop experience
