The following student position is a part of IBM Canada's EPIC (Employment Pathways to Interns & Co-ops) Student Program. This position is only open to students registered in a Canadian University or College program, who have completed a minimum of 2 years of their degree or diploma program, and who must be returning to full-time study upon the completion of the temporary IBM work term.
*This Student Position resides in Ottawa, Ontario and is a 4-month work term commencing May, 2017.

The following job responsibilities for Communications - Marketing include:
We are seeking innovative students looking for a full semester of challenge in an exciting and high paced environment. The Marketing intern will work closely with marketing leaders and co-workers to enable the professional and cultural transformation of the function. A Marketing professional is a critical thinker with strong business acumen and desire to work in a role supporting an IBM team of executives and managers.
Marketers in this specialty apply buyer behavior expertise to design and orchestrate the delivery of exceptional content assets and client engagements, end-to-end, encompassing buyer journeys, content narratives and deliverables, and content publishing.
An Intern in this role will have the opportunity to work on strategic projects that address real life business challenges. The intern will gain experience across a variety of disciplines including content management, content strategies and content production.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise:
- Enrolled in Bachelor's Degree program
- Proficiency in writing for business
- Prior experience with social media marketing campaigns
- Co-op or internship program enrollment is mandatory
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:
- Knowledge of IBM products
- Experience with at least one Data Discovery tool
- Understanding of software engineering
