Experience / Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Project Management, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred; Minimum of 1 year experience in marketing, field sales, coaching/mentorship, leadership in a student organization

General Job Description: Reporting to the Executive Team, the Manager, Campus Ambassador will effectively promote and support guard.me brand by engaging student leaders at high schools, colleges and universities across Canada.

Responsibilities:

  • Enthusiastically represent the guard.me brand at campuses across Canada
  • Conduct on-going recruitment of field staff as brand ambassadors for guard.me
  • Develop and deliver a training program for brand ambassadors, in collaboration with Exec Team
  • Set criteria for schools to select candidates to nominate as potential CAs
  • Set a schedule of events and activities for priority schools, with input from Exec Team
  • Travel to schools to select, train and coach CAs
  • Liaise with schools and CAs on initiatives and strategies to engage international students
  • Provide ongoing training and support for on-campus ambassadors
  • Create a memorable brand experience for students and staff
  • Provide detailed feedback on student and institutional interactions and comments
  • Assist with in office needs related to student and institutional support and other client needs
  • Provide Exec Team with scheduled status updates on program metrics, personnel, evaluation of challenges and opportunities, program reporting and reviews, recommendations for program improvement
  • Oversee coordination of program logistics with the help of campus ambassadors team
  • Serve as liaison between Field staff and Account Managers
  • Ensure student satisfaction and maintain ongoing student interactions and support
  • Attend in-depth and comprehensive program trainingOversee event assets and collateral materialsTravel within Canada as needed
  • Continuously develop creative ways to engage students and surrounding community
  • Maintain any budgets as assigned
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Project Management or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred;
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in marketing, field sales, coaching/mentorship, leadership in a student organization
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle
  • Overall program management experience, including development, implementation and execution
  • Excellent working knowledge of the international education field and/or mental health initiatives on campus
  • Strong inter-personal skills; ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Enjoys working in a demanding, fast paced work environment with flexible with work hours
  • Highly self – motivated and independent, a strategic thinker with an entrepreneurial spirit
  • Able to perform well and problem solve in high stress, dynamic and changing situations
  • Excellent time management, organization and multi-tasking skills;
  • Sound understanding of and experience working with Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook);
  • Outgoing, energetic and positive personality are a must
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of the team
  • Confident delivering presentations, meeting new people and adapting to new situations
  • Attention to detail and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail oriented with solid communication skills, including insight, analysis, and program reporting
  • Strong leadership abilities to build rapport with Campus Ambassadors and institutions
  • Additional language capabilities – Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese or Mandarin
  • Experience studying or working in another country is an asset
