Overview

We have seized the opportunity to review our strategic direction & operating model our goal in the Revenue Value Stream (RVS) to put strategy first, focus on building a sustainable portfolio, seeking innovation and continuous improvement, empowering all employees and working and winning as one team to maximize benefit for our stakeholders

The focus of the Business Strategy and Support team is to build from our position of strength and enhance and implement organizational initiatives to become more efficient in our day to day work and more agile to respond to customers’ needs. We want customers to feel that EDC is one organization, and that we are contributing to their success. 

Key Responsibilities

These student(s) will help us define and document the current state of the Revenue Value Stream and assist in initiatives and projects that will help prepare us for the future state as well as maintaining operational communication and documentation.

 

Qualifications

Our Ideal Student:

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program in a field related to business, computer science, software engineering, information management, project management or equivalent
  • Ability to document accurately and assist in drafting processes, work flows, business procedures, project requirements, etc.
  • Ability to articulate and communicate succinctly to a variety of levels within the organization
  • Ability to take initiative in both identifying opportunities and completing assigned tasks independently and in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to be flexible and work in a high pressure and changing environment
  • Knowledge of MS Office including Visio, Excel, Word, Power Point
  • Knowledge of LEAN methodologies will be an asset 
  • Knowledge of Finance and Investment domain will be an asset
  • Ability to program in Visual Basic for Applications will be an asset
  • Ability to design and support in SharePoint will be an asset
  • Bilingual in both official languages (French and English) is an asset.
