Team & Job Overview

EDC Customer Care is a centralized service team who provides professional support to our customers, bankers, brokers and partners from 8am to 8pm ET coast to coast.

Our team provides value-add customer service throughout the life cycle of the customer journey. The Customer Care Operations Associate primarily supports team business operations. This is a critical new role to streamline our operating model. We are looking for someone who is excited about supporting a very agile and collaborative team, who will help us support, evolve and build new streamlined processes and procedures to maximize the efficiencies of workflows within our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responds to routine business administration process-related questions for all inbound inquiries supported by the Customer Care Team.
  • Documents all customer interactions using available tools and system and actively uses and contributes to the Knowledge Library.
  • Provides various administrative services to team including, but not limited to using business software applications to prepare correspondence, coordinating agendas, tracking time and attendance, creating and managing team schedules, managing workflows, routing/triaging and responding to information/requests, preparing documents, arranging logistics, processing inquiries, administering budgets.
  • Provides file, document or information storage and retrieval services including classification, organization and electronic data/Information entry or sourcing (SharePoint).
  • Solves administrative problems and initiates improvements to administrative standards, controls and processes.

Qualifications

Skills/Competencies
  • Knowledge of customer service operations principles and practices.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Proactive with an entrepreneurial and client centric mindset.
  • Proficiency in the operation of computer applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook and other related programs).
Screening Criteria
  • Completion of secondary school
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an operations and or administration/clerical role.
  • Knowledge of customer service operations principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in the operation of computer applications (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook and other related programs).
Assets
  • Completion of College Diploma or University Degree (Business Administration, Economics, Finance or equivalent)
  • Bilingual in both official languages (French and English)
Salary Range
  • $45,700 - $68,500, plus performance-based incentive
Location
  • Remote opportunity, open to candidates across Canada.
  • Need to be available to work EDC core operating hours – 8:30 to 5:30pm ET
