Teaching Requirements
Don’t have any teaching experience? You don't need any even though it's always welcome. You will, however, need the highlighted requirements in order for the government to issue you an ESL teaching work visa. Don’t have all these documents on hand? You can apply and provide them later.
- A Bachelor’s Degree
- A clear background check
- Ability to live abroad for at least one year
- A TEFL Certification
- No TEFL? No problem! Find out if you qualify for a FREE TEFL when you apply.
- A passport holder of AND have a Bachelor’s degree (all majors accepted) from:
- England
- United States
- Canada
- Ireland
- Australia

How to become a teacher
Our highly trained recruiters and visa officers support you every step of the way. Once you arrive overseas, you’ll go through a series of training sessions led by our qualified trainers.
Our Process

3. Visa Process
Our expert visa team will help you navigate the Chinese visa application process.
4. Arrive in China
We'll pick you up at the airport and arrange the hotel: while you explore the city and meet new friends.
5.Onboarding & Orientation
You’ll learn about how to find housing, open a bank account, navigate your new city, and get a tour of your new school.
6. Start teaching!
After shadowing a teacher and going through the curriculum, you’ll start teaching your own lessons.
