Part-Time Payroll Coordinator

The role:

We are looking for a Team Member with a proven track record in payroll with enthusiasm and passion to help build the business on all fronts. An accurate, timely, and complete payroll is the first priority in this role, but other ad hoc responsibilities may be given

This is a part-time position, up to 20 hours per week.

Who you are:

  • Preferred Payroll Compliance Practitioner (PCP)
  • At least 2 years of experience in payroll
  • Strong problem-solver with great organizational skills
  • Solid communicator - we work in an international environment with all levels of management
  • Excellent technical and computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook a must, WorkForce Now preferred)
  • Knowledgable of Employment Standard Act and payroll legislation
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Meticulous, great attention to detail and the ability to manage your time, tasks, responsibilities and deadlines
  • An independent work, who can also contribute to a team
  • Possess a high level of confidentiality and trustworthiness

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Senior Payroll Administrator in monthly payroll data entry and processing using ADP's WorkForce Now, ensuring correct payroll information is posted and paid
  • Involvement in all personnel transactions: new hire, terminations, changes, etc
  • Reviewing hourly employee timesheets for completeness and accuracy
  • Assistance in the completion of monthly reporting, ROE's, HRIS and employee personnel file updating
  • Preparing monthly payroll reports and analysis for management
  • Completing reconciliations of payroll related accounts (benefits, union dues, MSP etc.)
